PP Properti Develops a 4-Star Hotel and Capsule Rooms in Lombok
PT PP Properti Tbk, a subsidiary of PT PP (Persero) Tbk, is developing PRIME PARK Hotel & Convention Lombok, a 4-star hotel located at Jalan Udayana No. 16, Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara.
Director Commercial and Hospitality of PT PP Properti Tbk, Sinur Linda Gustina, said that the PRIME PARK Hotel & Convention Lombok is developed to provide accommodations as well as Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) destinations in Mataram.
"The hotel is expected to open by end of 2020. We are working hard to complete the development to meet the target to welcome the first MotoGP world racing event in Indonesia in 2021 to be held in Mandalika," Linda said.
Linda explained that the MotoGP event will be the perfect moment to accommodate both domestic and international tourists visiting West Nusa Tenggara. "We are optimistic that tourists to visit West Nusa Tenggara will increase after this prestigious event," she added.
PRIME PARK Hotel & Convention Lombok belongs to a state-owned enterprise and managed by PP Hospitality, one of PP Properti's business units. It is built on the land owned by PP Properti with a total area of 6,100 square-meter and building area of 24,993 square-meter. With total investment of 390 billion, the hotel is planned to have 9 floors and 2 basements consisting of 164 rooms and equipped with a ballroom with a capacity up to 1,200 persons.
Furthermore, Linda explained, PRIME PARK Hotel & Convention Lombok targeting the business and leisure markets. Lombok is indeed one of the excellent tourist attractions in Indonesia. The hotel, which is located in the center of Mataram, is very close to its favorite tourist destinations including the Great Mosque of Hubbul Wathan Islamic Center, Ampenan Old City, Lembar Port, Sengigi Beach and Sekarbela, the best quality pearl craft center in Lombok.
To meet millennial travelers’ needs, PP Properti will also develop its first capsule room, Pod Place, located in a commercial area. Pod Place is designed instagrammable combining traditional Lombok decorations and digital artwork. It is planned that a total of 20 Pod Place units will come with communal space facilities such as co-working space and mini pantry.
